Hello!
I'm not entirely, but fairly new to fish keeping. I'm currently setting up a 10 gallon tank and waiting for it to cycle. I just passed week one on Sunday, and went to test the water for ammonia or nitrites, but then remembered I don't have any tests for ammonia! However, I have test strips for nitrites and nitrates but both showed a reading of 0. What do I do? I don't have any nitrites or nitrates in my tank, and my tester for ammonia doesn't come until this Friday. How do I know my tank cycling at ALL???

You need the ammonia test kit. If you havent added fish yet, you need to follow our fishless cycle guide. You will need to add 3ppm pure ammonia to start the cycling process. Adding some fast growing plants will help speed up the cycling process. It may take a month or longer to complete the cycle. Adding tetra Safe Start might speed up the process.
