is there any proper care for these guys like feeding?

They are filter feeders Harry - they will need extra phytoplankton in a skimmed tank

so you have to feed them every day with that stuff? i have a big hole in one of my rocks so i thourght maybe i could put one of them in there.

Yip thats the stuff it depends where you live in the country but South West Marines grow there own and is some of the best I have used.

I'm not a big fan of feather dusters. Many post them as easy to care for but I think they are difficult. You'll let us know how you do. Hope this helps:

thanks i will tell you how i get on soon. need more money only have £20. can some tell me if you can grow pods in a refugium with just sand and live rock? because i thinking of getting a scooter bleeny.

Yes you can but you will need to feed them phyto as well how big is your tank as pods will grow in the tank itself if you have enough LR I am currently heaving dosing my LR i have about 40Kg of rock as I want to add a female mandarin reefworks do a good monthly package of pods you recieve a vial a week to add to your tank i am doing this for 3 months then watching my Mandarins very closely.

Alternatly you can grow your own with a couple of 3L pepsi bottles an air pump and a windowsill
