Hi im very new to keeping fish an got a couple of questions. Hope someone on here can help me lol

No. That's normal. Fish 'need' far less food than most people give them. BUT... fish will EAT whenever food is available until they gorge themselves. Its just their instinct. They don't know when the next meal is coming, so they need to take advantage when its there. As responsible aquarists, we need to save them from themselves. Most fish in the hobby have a stomach roughly the same size as their eye. And today's fish food is extremely nutrient rich. They don't need much of it to be healthy. In fact, I fast my fish about twice a week. Feeding once daily the other days. Quite active fish, healthy, and no issues with gaunt appearances or anything.
