Hello everyone
I just got back from my lfs, and I asked the guy there for some info about convicts, as I'm really fascinated by these fish.
I'm quite a noob at fishkeeping, only got a 54l tank (guess that's about 15g) with some guppies.
I would like to put the gups in with my moms community tank, and buy me a pair of convicts for my tank.
The guy at the lfs said it's big enough, but by reading some stuff on the internet, I have my doubts.

Could anyone tell me if it's okay to keep a pair in a 54l tank?

and maybe give me some more info about them, or a site that you like?

15 gallons is too small for Convicts. People don't realize that a male convict should grow to 6" long, and 15 gallon is no place for a fish that size. In addition the close quarters will raise aggresion levels, and it is not unknown for one to kill the other in close quarters like this.
