im just about to treat my tank for white spot (damn pets at home) but it tells me to remove the carbon and zeolite filter media i know the carbon is the black sponge but what is the zeolite one btw i have a juwel internal filter.

u didnt buy fish from pets @ home did u!!!!!!! omg there the worst LFS iv ever seen.. dont buy any more fish from there please! i bought some b4 and they all died the next day!

You wouldn't have zeolite in your Juwel internal (as standard), so don't worry about it :)

It's like grainy white granules :

Good luck treating your ich.

wev got a juwel aqaurium downstairs, im sure its the 2nd one from the bottom, it goes ehite black green blue yh!

Zeolite is not present in std juwel filter systems, as Bloo has said Zeolite is a white grain type media.

tetra-man2 your green juwel sponge is a nitrAte sponge (ie supposedly removes nitrAtes)
