I have a 29 gallon aquarium with two golden gourami, one male one female, That are both about an inch and a half long. I was thinking about adding 3 zebra loach to the tank. I have natural volcanic rocks with lots of places to borrow and plenty of live plants. Has anyone got some words of wisdom about these fish?

Thanks

I have a dozen and they're lovely; no trouble at all. You do want more than three though; six would be better and you have room for that many, IMO.

I got 6 young ones recently, they seem pretty active :) Might add another 6 :D

awesome. I don't have room for six but I know they're a real social fish. Hopefully they can be happy with just a few friends.

Have you got anything else in your tank? If you've just got the gouramis, you have plenty of room for six zebras, IMO. It really would be better to have a larger group.

I have just the two gourami's. I wanted to put two more mid level swimmers around 3 inches. then the three zebras. so that would be around 23 inches of fish. I didn't really want to put like the maximum of 29 inches.
