Zebra Danios

I've got 5 zebra danios. I used to have 9 (but lost some in a worm crisis)

They used to writhe around together, which I assume was spawning? But they don't do that anymore so I think I've got all females now?

But I can't really tell. They seem to have both gold and silver stripes to me.... and rounded bodies.

here is the clearest pic I've got. They all look pretty much the same.

Can anyone tell if they are males or females?

Its quite difficult to tell from that photo but males typically have more yellow colouration on their fins and are thinner whereas females are slightly more rounded.

I know, I've read all that, but honestly I just can't tell. Whatever they are I think they are all the same...all boys or all girls???

males are very slim when fully grown females have a little bit of a belly, but that one in the photo looks like a female in my opinion, if they all have the same body shape as that then its a safe bet thier female

yeah danio s are odd. i got a zebra, leopard, glowlight, pearl, and some other type i cant remember. But all danio. They shoal about without a clue they are any different. But took me till they grew into thier bodies to sex them as its soo hard to tell when thier babies.
