could this be a sign of them mating? should i try breeding them.. it would be cool if they did then i could probably feed them to my oscar... also my 4 danios in another tank, they seem to be darting at fighting at each other.. could this be a mating sign to?

Wrong section - danios are egglayers, not livebearers. You should really have more than 2 zebras, they are social schooling fish and are probably miserable with only two in the tank.

In a longer tank zebras will chase up and down the length of the tank near the bottom when they are breeding. They are egg scatterers so what they are doing when they do that is dropping eggs along the way and the males are dropping sperm into the water. I don't know what that would look like in a short tank where they have no swimming space but it could look like circling each other. To succeed with egg scatterers youneed them in a tank of their own and remove the parents when they are done breeding. The eggs are left to develop on their own. This is very general knowledge that I have picked up since I have never bred zebras and I don't know the details.
