Zebra Danio Discolouration

Hi there, i bought 5 zebra danios today but one of them is almost brown, the stripes are only just visable, however it seems very healthy, no sign of disease or stress. I was thinking that it might be a different sex as with a lot of fish the females often appear duller. Could somebody please shed some light on this.

That might be because you just got them. They can become dull if they are stressed out or when they are moved to a new environment. Keep and eye on it and see how it does. Also make sure your tank is fully cycled or your water parameters are good.
