You're a fish-head if...

Great one, Inchworm!! My wife and kids could have written that one about me! It sounds crazy, but I have found some good inspiration for homemade fish gadgets just by walking around a hardware store!

My wife loves to check out deals at garage sales, earlier in the summer we both went for an afternoon drive to a small town near where we live that was having a "town-wide rummage sale". First place we stopped, I picked up a tank for $2, second place, same deal (by now, she has a slight frown on her face), third one we went to, everything was half price, can you guess what they had? That day I brought home three 10 gallon tanks for $5 total. She got a couple Tupperware containers. Guess who cooked supper that night!

She will, occasionally come out to the fish room (it is separate from the house) to see what I am up to, her visits usually always include the phrase "You are out of control here"........

Sadly I don't fit that category. Never had the funds or technical expertise to fit most of those criteria.

though I'm not waiting in anticipation like Christmas or anything.

They've arrived, and while it's not Christmas, it's like a gift you've been wanting for some time. So far only an albino and a black snail have moved their little cap and extended their whiskers and foot though the rest are showing signs of stirring which is nice. They arrived moist, not in water like I was expecting so I was impatient for the 25 minutes to be up to let them loose in the breeder net in my tank.
