Your Thoughts On Mondo Grass

I really like the looks of these plants. I'm thinking about covering the base of my 29 gallon tank with about 80% Mondo grass. Is this a good idea? What do think are great benefits of having a tank with the majority of these plants?

Are you sure you mean mondo grass as mondo grasses are none aquatic plants.

Mondo grass looks great outside in a garden, not in a tank. If you want a similar look, go for Echinodorus tenellus. It fans out for me anyways in a fashion similar to mondo grass. E. tenellus is also easy to care for and is around the same size.
