Your Fish Keeping New Years Resolution

to set up my new 120 lt tank and make it look as awesome as the TOTM winner in december! :good:

My fish resolutions for 2012 would include...

Rehoming all my current fish species that are not African riverine or Central American
If I do not manage to rehome my group of Persian Killifish, have a proper go at trying to rescue any eggs to raise some youngsters, rotating loads of spawning mops on a daily basis to a spare tank
Hopefully raise some Limones Goodeids from my growing group, that is if they are likely to reach sexual maturity this coming spring/summer
Perhaps turn one of my two 4-footers into either a heaterless temperate community tank (more likely, less electricity), or try to slowly build up a Tanganyikan community after seeing some great inspirational setups from forum members including Kiriyama and EliseW... Once my Ilyodon and Synodontis youngsters are big enough to safely add to community tanks

My fish resolutions are:
-successfully settle in the 4 bettas I just ordered
-buy 2 more 10 gallon tanks (one for bettas, one for killis)
-breed a successful batch of halfmoon bettas
-buy one unusual colored halfmoon betta
-breed one successful batch of killis
-sell enough microworms, Killi eggs, and RCS to support my hobby!
-breed some snails!

Also,
save one betta from somewhere!

i would like to move out of my flat and into a house with a garden so i can have a bigger tank and get more into my other passion....bonsai trees!!!

Throw in some mysterys and leave em alone forever and you'll have millions!!! Lol but apples and mysterys are sooooo easy.

I wouldn't breed snails. Sorry. I just dont like em.

Now back to fishkeeping resolutions.

I also added one now. Raise s baby betta from about 2 months old and help him live a long happy life.

Not to host so many Fish Gladiator Arena's, it's costing me a fortune.

Try some assassins. Pest snails are impossible NOT to breed. So, if you really want to breed snails, get some plants and add tons of food to a fishless tank. The pest snails will start to take over the tank. Then get a few assassin snails and continue to overfeed the tank. The pests will keep going, while the assassins will breed.
