Recently, I had accidentally destroyed my male Dwarf Gourami's pride and joy, his nest. Devastated by this, he had decided not to build another. Much to my dismay, because I'm trying my hardest to get them to breed.
Today, I had a cracking idea. I know Dwarf Gourami's build their bubble nests with materials they find strewn in the tank, and so decided to do just that. I've added fresh cut grass and floating plants. So, he's now the proud owner of a nest no longer strewn with the bodies of dead/eaten live foods.
With a new pretty nest, here's hoping they'd breed soon.
