You Know What Stinks?

I keep rats, they don't stink, and my oldest is well over two years ^^

Rats stink also and they only live for 2 years

They do indeed stink, but they're supposed to live around 4 years. Unfortunately pretty much all small fluffy pets sold in stores are inbred to the point that they all develop cancer long before then (this is how every single rodent I've ever owned died,) so it's probably wiser to buy one from a breeder if that's an option.

Rats do stink my study hall teacher has 2 of them in what looks like a 30 gallon tank and they stink and they are dieing also from cancer because they were in bred and both have a really really huge lump that looks like a tumor on the side of there bodys.

I don't want to make it sound like I'm a huge snob or anything, who always gets what he wants...sometimes I wish it was that way...but its not.
Like I said, it took alot of convincing on my part to get my first fish tank...but they complied and bought me one for my birthday one year.
I was excited...I got a paper route, bought myself another 10G, which I thought was awesome because it was pretty much the only thing over $50 that I'd bought all by myself, hehehe.
Got a 5G, and a couple 1.5G's....then I quit the paper route, because, even though it was decent money, I wasn't getting enough each month(I signed up thinking I'd get $40 or more - most months I ended getting $20-$27. Delievering the pepers was really easy. It was collection that sucked. Some people were never home, and some people refused to pay..).
Then, for my past birthday, my parents helped pay for my 55G.
Now, I've set-up my nano basically by myself, from money left over...from random things. Birthday, christmas, ect.
I'm one of those save-not-spend kind of people. I have a $100 bill that I've had for years, and I can't spend it. I'm kina funny like that...
Anyways, it was just a thought, me talking aloud. I haven't even presented the idea to my folks yet... So nothing is final.
