Hi all,

Up to and all this time, my Yo-Yo's have been the most peaceful species of fish in my tank, but not anymore......

In one of my tanks, with two Yo-Yo's, one has grown much larger than the other, and has now become 'unfriendly' towards it.

I'm wondering whether anyone else has experienced this 'problem' with their Yo-Yo's? And what are the possible reasons behind this? Breeding frustrations? :S

actually, its not uncommon for yoyos to be semi aggro. its says so in most of their profiles, though some still clain their peaceful fish.

Up until now, they have been the most interesting, and best 'community' fishes I have ever had. I have never seen any of my Yo-Yo's attack any of my other fishes. Usually, they were at the receiving end of other fishes pinching their food finds in the gravel substrate.

This was until one of the Yo-Yo's have grown much larger than his Yo-Yo companion (in one of my tanks). I'm just wondering whether he's (?) frustrated at not having a suitable mate?
