i have yet another freebie tank.lol this one is also a 4t, so thats a 2ft x 1 ft x 15 inches.a 4 ft x 1ft x 1.5 ft and a 4 ft x 1.5ft x 2 ft. thing is this new tank has 3 damaged edges. 1 is damaged to the point where the sealant is kinda visible. can it be repaired easily or would it be better to discard?

Can you get a picture of the damage so that we can try to judge it?

If the worst damage is near the top and not fixable, then you could set up the tank as a Paludarium or Riparium, and have the water level below the damaged area.

I'd say if the damage means you can get in to where the inner sealant is and it's near or on the bottom then bin it. Or grow houseplants in it if you like that sort of thing? Set it up as a wormery ? Worms make great free fish food

its has been filled 1/4 of the way up for a few days and no leaks yet.

I honestly don't think I would try to save that one. By the time you replace all of the damaged glass it would be cheaper to just buy a new tank. With the damage on the bottom like that it will give way some day in the not too distant future if you fill it all the way without replacing the damaged glass.
