First off let me just say sorry. I don’t really like buying things unless someone tells me their past experience with the product and because of unspecific and detail-lacking item descriptions.

Now I found these little diffuser power heads. I recently made my own DIY co2 reactor and am very pleased so I want something not so messy so I might make another “neater” one but first let me see about these things.

This one here:
http://www.petsmart.com/global/product_det...t=powerhead&N=2

It says it has a diffuser.. does that mean I do not need the co2 reactor tube thing?
Can I just have the air intake tube connect to my co2 Generator?
At night can I turn a valve and have it suck in regular air?
Will it suck the co2 from the co2 generator?

Looks like a filter as well to me, and those things are quite big, so it'll take up quite a bit of space. You'd be better off with a 'normal' CO2 diffuser like a ladder or ceramic one.

Oh right, well looks ok, but not sure how efficient at dissloving the CO2 it will be. It may just blow huge bubbles out and the key to good diffusion is to get a really fine mist of bubbles.
