Are they usually active, swim around alot or do they usually stick low near the substrate? They seem really cool :D I just want to get one, but I want to see if these guys are active or not.

They are not open water swimmers, and will "jump" / hover around your rock work resting on ornaments, powerheads, LR, etc. You wont see them swimming in the open no. I love them though, and want some! :D They have big character so ive heard.

Agree with Mr Miagi. Not open water swimmers, but they're not hiders like some gobies.

I want some too!

I am thinking of getting some as a last addition to my tanks, they have an offer at my LFS of 3 for £25. Is it good to get a group as they are selling them as? Also very important, do I have enough space for them as I dont want to overstock.

BTW SkiFletch, I have removed my skimmer now, due to the problems I was getting and it is so peaceful now lol!

You'd be pushing the limits of normal stocking adding 3 fish. I wouldnt quite call it overstocked, but its close. Dunno if clown gobies specifically like to be in small groups, but since most gobies are ok being in groups I'd be tempted to believe its ok to do.
