I'm picking some of these up tomorrow! I'm a tad excited!

Now to work out where they are gonna live lol

I love these coloured variations of Cherry Shrimps, I have been wondering about whether to get yellow or green shrimps for next time as i like these and sometimes LFS will stock them (not often enough though) and can be pricey for just a few.

Do post a pic or two when you get these guys ;)

Awesome! Can't wait to see some pics of 'em.

OOO this is interesting as I'm thinking of getting a few shrimp for my micro tank once it's cycled. Got amano shrimp in the 2 main tanks but they'd be too big for this little one I think.
Don't think I've seen yellow or green ones before!

Do be aware though that these colour variations of cherry shrimps appear to be less hardy than the main Red Cherry Shrimps.

The coloured variations have been selectively bred for their colours so they are a little more sensitive to water parameters.

There's many variations of cherry shrimp (neocaridina heteropoda) - there's several grades of just the red ones alone all the way from nigh on clear to the painted fire reds. You'll find blue jelly, chocolate, yellow, orange and green. I haven't seen many green ones, though...

My all time favs are the pure redlines. They look like they've been painted with tipex!

I totally understand, I love my wee shrimps!

Get some pics up when you can so we can have a look! Good Luck!

They yellows are dropping in price, this is why i could get my hands on some lol

I want to get some blues, chocolates, orange and blacks too at some stage (we dont have greens here yet that i know of). My plan is to eventually have a shrimp rack setup
