I was at a local wine making store yesterday and noticed they had a product called "yeast energizer".
Apparently it helps speed up the fermentation process.
Lately I've been having trouble getting any C02 production from my DIY C02, batch after batch I continue to get little if any bubbles.
I've bought new yeast, tried different variations in my recipes, checked for leaks even did a little dance hoping that would help in some odd strange way, but nothing has helped.

I was wondering if anyone has tried the yeast energizer, and whether or not it helped?

try sticking the bottle some where warm. heat is the best catalyst.

What mix are you using?

It's warm enought in here, thats for sure.

I use the hagen containers, 1 cup sugar, 1/4 teaspoon bakers yeast and 1 tsp baking powder.

I tried adding flour to the mix this morning, approx 1 tsp and it worked quite well.
I'm not getting 1 bubble/sec like I would like, but it's a start.

I've been brewing yeast C02 for 4 yrs without incident, all of a sudden I'm having problems and I'm really not sure why.

I've even used a spare tank filled with heated water (with a heater of course) and an old sub filter in an effort to keep the mix at approx 79-80 degrees without any noticable change in bubble rates whatsoever.

I've checked and checked for air leaks and found none, bought new yeast and changed the recipe and still not getting the bubble rate of 1 per/sec.

When I shake the mix it'll start spewing out bubbles only to slow down and come to a complete stop within 10-20 sec's.

I'm stumped.

I'm going out right now actually and am going to buy the energizer stuff and see how that does.
I will post my results when I get some.

Thanks for the help folks. :D
