Does any body know if yellow slider terrapins have mateing/foodluring dances.
My tpin keeps bringing his hands up next to his head lick someone pretending to have big ears and waving them realy fast
but he only does it when theres someone by the tank

Yup, sounds like typical male slider seduction to me lol

The males would normally block a females path and swim infront of her moving side to side and using the long claws to almost tickle her head and neck, all very odd if you ask me lol.

He is #1 either courting you or whoever's there looking at him or #2 being territorial.

I had 2 male red ear sliders, about 3 years old...that's all they'd do. back and forth displaying and never aggressive.
