A few months ago i got a free guppy, which i was told was female. anyway, it turned out to be male :p and its a very pretty one. the tail is about 1.5cm top to bottom, and the dorsal fin is about 0.75cm. the tail is bright yellow with black spots, and a black end body. and the dorsal fin is black with a yellow edge.

i bought 2 females yesterday, which i obviously want to breed :p
but i noticed a male guppy in the male tank which was solid black with some green lines on the tail. it was quite nice, which is good cause i might end up with some of his fry lol.

either way i will be happy

Wow!!.... This really takes me back a very very long time ago.... seeing someone getting excited about a guppy & the prospect of the first guppy fry..... It's so, so beautiful..... Savour this moment & look back at it in another 10 year's time.

Fry are very exciting, having not had platies in a few years having them now and one 'squaring' off i am very excited, got alot of moving around to do today.
Good luck with the breeding Jamie
