yea he does come to see me at the glass, and he seems to like flaring when my mum or dad come close lol, it's weird.
he seems to really like the tank, i might put some filter media in the outflow tube to slow the current a bit though, when he swims to its corner he gets pushed about a lot. It should also be slowed by the arrival of my plants, which should hopefully come this week.
he made his first bubble nest today, not bad considering i only got him yesterday and he spent the weekend in a mail depot!
i noticed him doing something strange today, occasionally he will flare up his fins a bit and sort of wiggle them and rub against bogwood and gravel or the glass, sometimes going practically vertical so his face is on gravel. It's not like when he flares at his reflection, he doesnt really puff up the flaps under his gills (don't know what they are called) when he's doing it this way. he'll only do it for like 5 seconds then he'll swim off for a bit. Is this normal?
