Y I Never Believe Chain Stores...

so i was in a petsmart on tuesday after work grabbing some frozen food... and went to browse the fish... (never buy from them) but i like to look...

i just got a Juvi Red Devil 2 weeks ago...

well anyways i came across there cichlids and WOW was surprised they had red devils...

but them i looked at there tag and and realized why i dont by fish from these chain stores....

its hard to see because of my phone camera but it says a 20 gallon tank and that they will get at a max of 8 inchs...

this is why people get in trouble when they buy fish and not realize what they are buying and how incrediblily big it can get...

ye everytime i go to my local pet shop there is always something wrong on the discription of the fish

Stupid petsmart. Also they get bigger then 8". I saw one at a fish store that was over a foot. Well you could fit one 8" fish in a 20gal tank but it would be like a prison cell. Not cool. Red devils are very common around me.

Outrageous really.

Unfortunately, if shops truly described the character and requirements of a red devil, then they would hardly be able to sell any, as they are so large, aggressive and specialised.
