I would still be very careful and keep a close eye on him. It is possible it was just stress and that he was getting bullied before, however, the diseases mentioned are nothing to mess around wiht, so keep an eye on him

How can a fish go from a sunken in belly, then you say he's thin, and next he's plump, good god a fish dosn't put weight on that fast.

i agree. i would keep him in a hospital tank and just monitor him and treat the tank as best as possible. i had a fish die of what appeared to be internal parasites. he had a fin he couldn't use that was fromn a bad case of fin rot (that he had gotten in the lfs and didn't show signs until a couple of days after getting in m tank,i think) well turns out that he was fine and he was really plump, swimming around and then like 10 min later i wanted to see my fish (you know that nice relaxing feeling you get watching them peacefully swimming about- and you say, gosh i wish i was a fish, their life is so easy) then i noticed that he was dead. i instantly fished him out of the tank and i am praying that no parasites might of snuck out. i can't get any parasite meds for at least a week because i am going away and i don't have money before i go away .

personally i would be very careful with the cory and if it loses weight suddenly again i would humanely put it to sleep (clove oil).

Is he still in your quarentin tank? I know last night you said you had one you could leave him in. I think this would be the safest thing to do for all your fish.

yeah he's still in with some aquarium salt. my dad can't get time to drive me to get some new bacterial meds

Why are you going for antibacterial meds? I know you were given the info for Internal Parasites, which is not an antibiotic, and needs to be bought from a farm supply store. You were then warned that it could be TB, which is bacterial, however very very very hard to cure.

What are you planing to cure with antibiotics? What meds are you getting?

yeah but someone told me to get bacterial meds for now and see what happens. im suspecting it also has ich now. i see like 1-2 dots of wihte
