Hi guys

Could some take alook at this picture (it is the one in the middle of the photo) and tell me what is wrong with my xray tetra. Its belly has become very very big. I am not sure if it is about to lay eggs. I dont think it is a swim bladder problem as it is swimming correctly and eating. I am worried if there is something seriously wrong i do want it to infect my other fish, any help would be greatful.

Thanks

Do it's scales look raised?
what's your water stats? nitrite/nitrate/ammonia
have you added any new plants or fish?

I don't know what is actually wrong with it. But that sort of swelling definitely isn't normal. There is a small chance it could be a blockage of food in which case you could try fasting the fish. Or feeding it some deshelled peas, the fibre tends to help flush them out.
