well i just bought a 5 gallon tank for my about 20 guppy/platy fry and it costed me 20 us dollars...thats a lot for a 5 gallon tank to a 16 year old kid like me...thats why i want to look for one on the side of the road =)

wow lovely tank but it wouldnt fit in my house :( I have gotten 3 tanks in my life from peoples front gardens, here in england if you have something thats of use to people put it in your garden and someone will either take it or ask for it, I have posted notes through doors asking what they are doing with it and its always nothing take it away and there is also freecycycle. 3 tanks at present are from there.

Salt has an extra few things to check, but if you invest and research well at the start then it is not much different to keeping some of the more sensitive fish in FW. However if things do go wrong, they seem to go wrong very quickly in SW tanks.

I am not a gret fan of a 9x2x2 tank as you can't really keep any bigger fish in that than you could in a 6x2x2 due to turning room.
