i recently found Betta toys available at one of my local fish store. i thought they were kind of cute but i was wondering what other fellow Betta's thought, and if any of these items or any other items be under their Betta's Christmas tree?

i have the Betta log for one of my little bettas.

I have the leaf and the mirror

my betta occasionally will rest on the leaf, but my tank is planted so there are many places for him to rest

the mirror, well my betta will constantly fight his reflection when the light is on, and when i put the mirror in he has ended up biting the edge of it and latching on for a second or two.

so i can recommend both but make sure not to leave the mirror in for more than 20-40 mins or so a day. they recommend 5 mins at a time i think

hey,
good to see you around these parts :) those look like fun things for a betta. but to be honest, live plants are better and a small mirror hung to the outside of the tank would serve the same purpose as that floating one, and could be found much more cheaply. but i like the novelty of it...cute!
hope my little girl is still doing ok...your boy is a feisty one. and growing into a handsome lad!
cheers!!!

I wouldn't pay for that stuff because you can get exactly the same effects by using a hand mirror stuck to the tank glass, tall live plants to rest on and coconut caves or other hollow smooth ornaments to hide in.

They're cute but seem a waste of money really.

unfortunately i had a huge die off and lost all my female bettas but the one i originally started off with. but his brothers are doing fine, they breached the barrier two weeks back and got into it, but both are healing up fine and enjoying their rambunctious pygmy Cory room mates.
i am sorry about flame, i have no idea what happened there but things seems to have stabilized their.

awwww. im sorry to hear that..must have been devastating to lose all your girlies. glad to hear the brothers are still doing well. oh, and the snails say hi :)
cheers

it was there were a couple in there i really loved, the one you traded to me and a one eye betta she was the last one to go. now its just Thera the one i started off last year with, i think i am just going to leave it like that too.
i am glad the snails are doing well ^.^ i just gave the remaining five to a local pet store so they could find homes too.
