Would Never Have Believed It..

Do u happen to have any pic's before and after?
Would love to see photo's u can show.

It's just that their is no evidance that i know of other then reports of it.
Until then it can only be classed as a myth

Even if has happened to your self.
I'll be happy to look at any fish people would like to show me, and even better if one dies freeze it and I'll love to document it.

The fish in the foreground used to be a female, & the other one is in the process of change... She recently delivered...

The original male is the one at the bottom

Their cracking fish you got, you can clearly see that with late developers how much stronger and larger they are, compared to the 1st male.

If it's had fry and your 100% then it's amazing, but the only way to tell is by getting someone to open it up. However I could not do that to a stunning fish like that for no reason!

To me the look stunning and have a femaleish look but i would personally say it's never had fry as it was never female.

Only way to be sure if for someone to do a study and the Xiphophorus Stock Centre in Texas www.xiphophorus.org

The genus has been studied since the 1920's with no evidence that i have found.

These are a couple of their fry, born about 5 days apart... there is currently only one female left out of the original 5 fish (1 male & 4 females).... She coud'nt have delivered after 5 days.... (inside help)?
