Would Like To Get Some Shrimp

I'm thinking cherry red or amano shrimp for my tiger barb tank. Would either be good? One better than the other? Ghost shrimp?

my tiger barbs attacked and ripped apart any shrimp they found once they got a taste for them,which didnt take long.

shrimp always look and do better in a shrimp only tank as they spend all the time out wandering around, when there are fish they spend a lot of time hidden.

Maybe some bamboo shrimp. I can not imagine any other species lasting long.

Well, my ghost shrimp in my cory tank battle the cory for food! It's hilarious to watch them. But the cory never harmed any of my shrimp.

What kind of shrimp did you have?

I have tried cherries and Amano with my barbs. The cherries lasted a few hours, the amano a few weeks.

I have a bamboo shrimp with my tigers and he is doing fine

I suspect that brine shrimp would be the most reliable result. At least you'd know what to expect.

I would stick with a bamboo shrimp. they average 3" in length.
