Would It Be Really Bad?

I've just been given a little glass bowl; about 10cms across and high, holds about a pint.

I was thinking about doing a nano (pico?) scape to sit on my computer desk and was wondering; would it be really bad to catch and put a Malaysian trumpet snail in there?

+2 why not, give it a sand substrate and plenty to eat and it will be fine. problem arises when they burrow under in the day and come out at night XD

I should point out it won't be a permanent home; I can't heat this bowl, so it'll go back in one of the tanks when the weather cools down
