Worst Injury Caused By Fish

I've been bitten by my mogurndas, and let my 6" uaru bite me. Neither hurt, but the Uaru left a white mark on my finger. Maybe I'll let my severum bite me next

I dont mean to sound rude but I died laughing when I read that LOL it doesnt sound funny when I read it now but the first time I read it I nearly pissed my pants.

This Is The Stupidest Really Getting Bit By A Guppy.. And My Friend Was Putting In Some Goldfish And She Dropped The Hole Bag On Her Expensive Laptop broke it rite away while her dog was barking jumping up and down at the fish she says too me we are on the phone uhhhh hold on 10 seconds later cassie i got to go as i hear her scream i am holden a friggen fish help then the phone hung up Lol HA HA HA

No worries AMS! I wrote it carefully in order to convey the true hilarity of it all, the customer didnt know what to do with himself, he sortof guffawed initially when it happened and then he realised I wasnt joking and my hand was indeed turning into a red balloon and I was getting a wobbly lip Then he was all apologetic but I was already running away.

To make matters better I had forgotten what the correct thing to do was, you know to neutralise the venom (i.e: place my hand in warm water or wee on it or something equally silly) Well I could only find one website that seemed to offer an answer and at that point any idea was a good one... so yes I wee'd on it... and it did absolutely nothing at all

So not only did I get stung, but I also had a giant red hand and I also cried infront of everyone AND then wee'd on my own hand for no reason at all.

Oh how I laugh now when I think about it all B)

weeing on your hands for jelly fish stings i think lol the ammonia does something lol.

that's really unlucky though.

none of my fish ingures have hurt like being slapped practically by a plec and bit by various chiclids that have been breeding, i normally get bit when hand feeding larger chiclids who just want food they don't care what's in the way!

oh and i got my fingers caught under my tank when moving it lol.

Um... my oscar accidentally scratched my cuticle while taking a pellet from my hand once, does that count? No more hand feeding for mr. oscar. He's a pussycat though, wouldn't hurt me purposefully.
I've also been nibbled by a tankful of hungry juvie bettas during a waterchange. Now I know to feed them first, THEN clean the tank, otherwise they'll drive me nuts, and you can actually feel some of those little bites! Like a pin prick!

my only injury is fish related but not caused buy the fish itself. I cam home from swimming to look out the window to see my goldy had jumped his above ground pond and was lying on the floor so i ran outside in socks and sort of skidded into the wall hitting it hard. ouch did it hurt but the goldy was fine thank god

By an aquairum fish : I was feeding my discus beef heart, one of them thought that my index fingure was a piece and decided to chomp on me, those little mouths are stronger than they look

By a non aquarium fish : I was handeling a king mackeral and he fell of the gaff and on the way down opened his mouth at just the right time to almost remove my hand. They have very very sharp teeth.

loaches have some pretty good bites to them i must say, the first time my yoyo nipped me on the arm i bout jumped out of pants not knowing what the hell just happened, but now it feels kinda neat, it feels like a small shock of electricity hits you.

A long while back I alowed my rainbow crab to get a grip of my finger with his big claw. I wish I hadnt. I totally underestimated his strenth and I had a job getting him to let go. I still carry the scar. all my fault.
