hi

is my tap water actually bad?
nitrate 0
nitrite 0
hardness 1 od!
carb hardness 1 od!
ph 6.8

I'm worried about the hardness and carb hardness  do i need to do something about this? i have read that low carb hardness can result in unstable PH, but every 3 days when i test my water it is very nearly always the same, and i've kept loads of fish in the period of 5 years and not had a problem because of this.
Thanks in advance

I think you have probably answered your own Q. If no problems continue as.

Lol, i suppose i kind of did, but are these results actually bad? and i dont want the fish to be suffering without me knowing

My water is pretty much the same as yours.

As long as you keep fish which are suited to soft (or at least moderate) water, they'll be fine. The only issue with low hardness is the fact the pH can drop, but I've found with mine it tends to never go any lower than 6.2-6.4
