Ok,I've read alot about some of you guys having problems with your bettas heads turning white. The one thing that made me feel a little at ease was the fact that it could just be age.I've had my little guy for about 7 months.
Over the past month or so I've noticed a bit of white under his chin (as much of a chin as a fish can have anyway
) and it's a little bit down his chest stopping before his 1st set of fins.
It doesn't look fuzzy,it just looks like his scales are a little pale in that area.
It happened so gradually that I can't remember if it was always there or not.So here's my question....How long would it take if this is a fungus for death to kick in? He seems normal & active, forever begging for food when I open the lid to do anything in there, so should I worry? I'll gladly buy him anything he needs if someone has some suggestions.
Thanks~
