I noticed this when I was moving some of his plastic plants around and when I did his water change earlier this week. Very, very small. I thought they were strings from his plant at first but when I pulled one into stagnant water it was stilled moving? Any idea. Ic it is harmful for my fish best ways to get rid of them? It is that little white hair looking thing next to the pink leaf in the middle.

You can see it a little better here. It is that white string thing in the shadow of the barrel near the bottom.

Looks like round worms, it you do not feed your fish for a few days they will take care of the worms. The worms are eating the left over food. They should not hurt your fish, you may want to vacuum your gravel also.

I wasn't to sure on what they were. I thought they might be those worms that eat the waste in the gravel. Starts with a D but cant remember the nam.

Yes, they eat the waste in the gravel, I would do a good vacuuming, they can reproduce rapidly so maybe it would be wise to reduce the amount you feed the fish so there is not much left over. I like the plants very colorful. I just have live plants, better for water quality but not as colorful.
