Not betta related but I don't really use the other parts of the forum, so....
One of my endlers has given birth! I have 4 little fry So happy!
AND.... I was cleaning out my tanks today, and being very careful in the tank containing shrimp... and I saw a little tiny shrimp! So they must be breeding! YAY!!

It is indeed. When my fish give birth, I am always so proud - even when it is livebearers! lol. Hoave only had them a few weeks, my endlers, so i wasn't expecting anything just yet

What happened in the end with the little stray fry you accidentally brought home last year?

It died after about 2 weeks Never did find out what it was, but looking at the baby endlers, I think it is likely it was a livebearer of some sort - looked very similar indeed!

I hope I AM overrun - black bar endlers are so beautiful, and I have some great ones from a breeder that were bred from wild fish. They are stunning! I'll have no problem selling on the offspring once I have the amount I want for my own tank
