I just bought some things by auction on E-Bay, and the guy selling, chucked in a coupla extras.... This arrived today, and amoungst others, a Bottle of "Pondclear"
Now the warnings on this bottle include the following directions:
1, Do not smoke or inhale whilst using this product..
2. Mix in a 10l bucket of water from the pond and throw away the bucket when completed....
3. Thouroughly wash your hands when in contact with the product...
4. Use only one teaspoon per 500l of water.... do not exceed the directions.
5. Be carefull not to spill any on the lawn or nearby shrubs.
6. Destroy the container when product is used.
7. spread evenly in pond and avoid contact to aquatic plants
8. If, after 10 days, there are still some algea left.... repeat the process with 50% dosage.
Would you use anything like that in your pond or aquarium???.... I break out in cold shivers by just looking at the bottle!!!
