Will This Work?

So i have 110L with 1 bala 2 thin-line loaches, 1 glass shrimp, 1 synodontis featherfin, 1 raphael catfish, 5 rosy tetras 3 bronze corys and 1 sterbei cory

What can i do with this, will this stocking work if i go ahead with trying aquascape or would i better off with others. If so what kind of fish would be best suited to a heavily planted tank?

Whats a glass shrimp its an extremely common name?
Could be macrobrachium sp. (bad) or palaeomonetes sp. (borderline) or a Cardinia sp. (good) I am such a shrimp nerd

Bala shark requires a tank 45+ inches long and groups do best not a good idea for this tank as its planted and balas sometimes rip up plants.
Tanks a bit small for an adult featherfin
Pump up those tetras to 8
I would add another 2 sterbai cories especially as you say their your favourite

The shark is only around 3" give or take would he really do a lot of damage?? The featherfin is only 4" at the moment but I was thinking of swapping him and my striped raphael out for a small plec, something like a Clown plec. Sorry i should really start using scientific names he is a palaeomonetes. I did have two but one died. Theres a story as to why I only have one sterbai (too long to go into)

I have two internal filters and do 1/4 water change every week. Dont know if that matters.

What are the internal filters brand model ect.

Its best to plan with the fishes full sizes rather then their current as otherwise you get attached and don't want to let them go at the appropriate time.
Do you have a home lined up for the bala or featherfin when he gets to big?
Yes it is best if Balas are kept in groups and yes single Balas can't spread there aggression to the school so rip up their environment instead. Some people are lucky though

I've dont have any homes lined up to be honest I have a great LFS that has taken a couple fish off of me before and he looks after them, Both filters are fluval2 thats all the info i can get on them. I got them second hand.

Fluval 2 or fluval 2 "plus". Are you using the coarse or fine sponges in their cartridges. You have 8 times turn over which is pretty good I would say you could have 1.5" per gallon as the rule of thumb depending on the sponges you are using.

Well make your LFS aware that you do have these fish but you don't have the tank for them so 6 months down the line you may bring them in. Then when you do need to get rid of them give them a call a month before you have to move them and ask when its convenient ect. as they may need to have a separate tank free due to the size of a large bala.
