Will Snails Eat Pearl Gourami Eggs?

I have a 50 liter breeding tank set up with sixty or so baby apple snails. I want to try to form a pair of gouramies and try to trigger breeding. I was wondering that if the gouramies happen to breed, will the snails eat the eggs?

They can definitely eat them if they can get at them.
