Hi all,
I'm a complete novice to all things aquarium and just wanted to know, will 'easy' plants like java ferns and anubias grab on to fake rocks alright?
It is my understanding they get their nutrients from the water, so I dont see why it would be a problem, but I figured I'd ask before I went through the trouble of doing it only to find it wouldn't work well. The rocks have rough surfaces and are pictured here:
Lastly, what is a good slate type rock for the bottom to affix java moss to? I can't use anything that will up my pH as it is already high, so actual slate is a no go.
Please let me know, and thank you.
