i have been keeping shrimp for quite a while and have had to treat my fish - before i started using quarentine tank
before you treat your fish get a small fish tank with a lid maybe the tiny 10 or 17 litre ones put a plant or planted bogwood/moss in from your tank and add the shrimp to that tank then treat your main tank
fill the little tank with current tank water , then change 20% of the water every day (dechlorinated tap water), keep an airstone running , dont worry about a heater cos amanos can live in cold water and your tank shouldn't drop too low in your home anyway , the shrimp will be ok in there until after the treatment has completely finished
then float the shrimp in a container of bag before adding them back to the main tank - if there is a temp difference
i did have a shrimp survive treatment once but i wouldnt risk it (that was only cos i thought i'd caught them all but i hadnt)
good luck Sarahxx
