Will my Plants Die?

Tube went in my planted tank,dad bought one while out ,I didn't look at the wattage but soon as I put it in it didn't look bright,its only 20 watt when I looked,he can't take it back, will my plants die?


If the answer is yes I'll go buy one and sneak it into the tank and dispose of dads,he'll never know.

If it was a 40 then you will want to do the sneeking

hide the 20 and keep it as a spare
