Yeah, it's probably just stress. Wait a few days, and he should be back to full color!

I am going to get some bolivians and blue rams (I am restocking my tank and so far have added 2 angels) planning on getting them next weekend perhapse..... I am very interested to know how your tank is going if you dont mind a have a few questions :)

What size is your tank?
What stock do you have in your tank?
Where you able to sex your Rams (do you know whether they are male or female I heard it is hard to tell)?

Back to your questions it is usually just stress that makes your fish a bit pale after a big move once he/she is settled in his/her colours will come back that is if your water stats are all good :)

Actually, it isn't hard at all...

Really? thats great I want a male and female and 2 LFS told me it was really hard to tell so I held off getting them until I did some more research on sexing them so I could pick out a male and female myself please let me know how you sex bolivian butterfly rams and blue rams..... much appreciated thanx :)

Often you'll find the reason fish lose their colour through transport is because they maybe stressed, imitating the colour of the transportation bag, the light affects it too, plus fish show their best colours when they have a stable aquarium.
alot of fish lose colours through transport
I used to have one male ram until he died, but my lfs sed they'd had a few die for no reason :(

It is hard to say when a fish will get its colors back. Many fish do not even develop their best colors until they mature. That being said, when put into good conditions with a proper well balanced diet, your fish should look much better within a couple weeks. Rams are generally pretty picky and may take a while to develop niec colors.

To I love my fishies I have a suggestion as well. I would buy several rams and HOPE that you get a pair. Once you get a pair you could return the other rams. Just because you buy a male and female does not mean they will breed. I had a particular male yellow ram that I wanted to breed. It took 3 females until I found one he wanted to mate with and not fight.
