Will Aros Ignore...

Hi, just wondering would an asian aro ignore smallish bottom dwellers?

also any chance of keeping toxotes microlepis with an aro?

probably not. =/ If your asian aro sees it down on the bottom of the tank it may go after it.how big is your asian aro and if u can,can u post the aro in a pic and what size is the toxotes microlepis? if ur ar is really big it may not be very advisable to mix them together.

well I don't have them yet - I'm sure you know aros size the microlepis should get around 6 inches, but I think the slim profile will make it lunch, seeing as though it's a top dweller

I reckon any adult aro would eat the microlepis, they arequite thin, but deep bodied so they are the same shame as the aro's mouth.
I have seen an adult arowana being kept with corrys once before, there were so many corrys that they made a complaet line to the surface to breath next to the aro. However, I think this only worked becaue the tank was about 75 gals so the aro could barely move.
What bottom dwellers are you thinnking of?
