Well spotted Judgejudy, this is a colony I started about 3 months ago with 2 pairs of sub adults and 10 fry. Its been a great success and the numbers are up to about 70 from Adults down to new born fry, all the adult females are at some stage of pregnancy and new fry appear almost daily !

Oh photobucket is always so temperamental! It's usually soooo slow  whenever I come back from a car meet with my other forum, it's such a task to upload and resize the pics-I could be at it for hours.

:hyper: omg that would be awesome! :D thankyou!
once these fry go tomorrow, I will just have my 2 mollies, my endler and my female. empty again until the fry who are in the trap are ready to leave.
How old are your fry? They look tiny! How are your guppies with the fry? Do they pay them much attention?

Thank you  good luck keeping all that fry! :good: and how big is your tank?

N ice looking guppies. They remind me of what all guppies looked like back in the 50s. The single colors and fancy finnage are relatively recent domestic features.

Never sent fish through the post so will speak to the breeder to see if he can let me have some Kordon bags. The colony is just getting established, and only have seven males that have coloured up so would like to hang on for a few more weeks to see how the smaller ones turn out. I've had loads of drops from seven weeks ago to yesterday, so from new born up to half inch. The adult females do chase the new born and I've seen a few get eaten but enough manage to escape!

Thanks OldMan, Yeah just like my first jam jar of Guppies I got as a kid in the 70s. I am totally captivated by them all over again and look forward to seeing what colour patterns come up.
