I do think the majority of fishkeepers are male, in my ezperience anyway. It does seem like the 'WAGs' kick up more of a fuss about tanks than the BFs/hubands do. I'm always hearing, "the wife says no", "the wife says. 'no tanks in the living room' ", "the wife wants it to match the furniture".

Im female, and IM the one who wanted a tank in our house, weve now got 2, one IN the living room......although I have toned it in to match the furniture!!!

Honestly this is probably a nightmare situation. As addictive as the hobby is, someone has to say "No" eventually. Two addicts would just fill the house with tanks... Kind of like those folks with 30 cats... there comes a time when enough is enough.
