wierd hardness question

is it possible for the ph and hardness to be lower upstairs then on the ground floor??
because the gh of upstairs is 1 or 2 times 17.9 and downstairs its 17x17.9
and the ph upstairs is 7.4
and downstairs is 7.9

Yes it is it could be different pipes that run through your house or there could be hevyer sediments sifting to the pipes downstairs a good way to normalize your house would be to run the water for 5 min before you take any drinking/cooking water or fishtank water.
