It's always irritated me that I can never get the red out of my eyes in digital photographs because it doesn't work at all for hazel eyes.

Here is my eye:

Here are my three options for red-eye:

Brown

Blue

Green

How long is it going to take for them to come up with red-eye correction for people with hazel eyes?!?! Ugh... :S

And, because I was bored... I did a creepy eye too.

So what colour would you say your eyes are? Mine are kind of similar in that they arent really any particular colour -_-

In the U.S. we call it "hazel". :D The cool thing is that my eyes look nice with whatever I wear because they have all different colors in them! :kana:

I'm a hazel too! I love having hazel eyes... they 'change colour', just like you said. If I'm wearing green, they are more green. Also make-up plays a huge factor... We can wear almost any colour, and change the look of our eyes!

Oh the brown Eye looks awesome, My eyes were like that only with more yellow for a few months each spring from 7th to 9th grade

From the picture, they look blue... but cameras always seem to have problems picking up on the subtle colors in hazel eyes. *sigh*

I know!!! I love it! A tip from a make-up artist who did my make-up once... if you want your eyes to appear more green, wear purple eyeshadow. Omgosh, it made my eyes look soooooo green!!!

I thought hazel was brown?

Here in the U.S., hazel is when your eyes have a bunch of colors to them so they can't be called blue, green, or brown.

How did you take such a good photo? I cant get it to focus properly.. even in macro

You HAVE to use the flash, otherwise the shutter speed is really slow. I had to take at least 5 pics before I got this one. It's easier having someone else take the picture for you, but if you can't then just experiment with different distances from your eye. Sometimes a pic from far away can look really clear when you zoom in and crop it!

Try a dif program...I use MGI Photosuite,it doesn't change the color of the eye ,just takes out the red.

:) wow crazy (but nice) freckle eye indeed

the colours are much more vivid than that, but its hard to get an acurate photo in a basement with barely any natural light, a lot of aquarium light and a flash.
