Hey guys, i'll give you some information on the current tank stats so that you can help..

10g tank
Nitrite:0
Nitrate:low(pale orange) <don't have the card for it
ph:6.2 tap:7.2
Ammonia:0
temperature: 26*

I have cycled my tank using the add-and-wait, this took about 2 months  When the day came to get the fish i did the 90% water change then got a betta and 2 ADFS. Throughout the cycle i had a piece of Moapi wood in the tank, after the cycle and the water change the water PH seemed to be fine. Along with the moapi wood are plants which are spread throughout the tank

When the 2 ADFS and the betta were in they looked quite happy, however, the next day i realised that the betta had torn fins and i assumed this was because of the current coming out from the air filter. I put in a bit more water which took down the flow of the air filter going into the tank a bit. This is where i went wrong i think :( Later on the Betta progressed even worse! When i tested the water i was shocked to find out a ph of 6.5 which gradually went down to around 5
I've removed the piece of Moapi wood which i believe was lowering the PH of the tank, however it was too late as my betta was dead :-(

The ph has risen a bit but what can i do? The ADFs are fine just now so hopefully they both will get through this :(

Don't do large water changes if your ph si different from your tap.
\How are the frogs now.

ok i'll start doing small water changes, 20% every couple hours? The frogs hang on the top of the filter( there is a little ledge) Another one of them crawls up through a little hole lol. They are mostly at the top of the tank rarely going back into the water( i assume this is because of the ph)

Go to inverts part of the forum, the frogs don't sound right.
No nothing about them sorry.
