my tank every so often just decides to diperse water one day its fine and then the next
there is loads of water on the cabinet its on it doesent flow. my dad said its probable because when you have done
a water change some water has got under the tank and just randomly comes out from under the
tank when it wants. could this be the solution.
plz help
thanks

check the seals on the corners and edges of the tank you may have to patch it up with some aquarium sealant

Check to see if the tank has any cracks (no matter how small), is the tank on a completely flat/even surface? Also check if its not just lots of condensation running down the back of the tank too  .

That happened to me, with my 6 gallon. It's an Aqua One model. My LFS told me that there is a reported fault with overfilling these tanks and this as Tokis Phoenix mentions results in lots of condensation running down the back of the tank. I now fill it up to a slightly lower level and it never leaks.

if you do find a leak be sure to drain the tank down below the leak and let it dry before attempting to patch it with silicone. Then wait atleast 24 hours before refilling.

my tank did the same thing...so we called petsmart (thats where we got it). they said to bring it back and get a new one. the tank was fully stocked so we bought a new tank (upgrade! :good: )and siphoned the water into the new tank. then we returned the old one. idk if that is what you are going to do, but good luck either way!!!
